This post is a little random. I love this picture of Dane. He always wakes up so happy. The first thing he wants to do it take a picture for Dad. He always asks where he is and says "Dad's working so hard but he will come back". When Eric gets home he usually says "I'm so glad you came back Dad". What a little sweetie!
Another silly picture.
We go to parent participation on day a week. Dane loves going to school. At the end of class they do a scarf dance...it is Dane's favorite part.
We had a daddy daughter dance at church and I helped with the dessert table. It was yummy! It also happened to hit while I was doing a cleanse (no sweets for me!)
I stopped eating Sugar right after the cruise and had to miss out on my mom's yummy valentines cookies. Dane was lucky enough to get 2!
Here is another egg pic. We have a very wide range of colors and sizes. The on the the left is a double yoke. The picture doesn't pick it up perfectly but it is go big!
We took Dane kayaking a few weeks ago. Dane reminds me of the karate kid in this picture.
We had a lot of fun. Eric didn't wear the best clothes for this adventure. The place that we launched out of is really muddy! On the way back Eric told me that I was going to have to jump out and drag the kayak in. I was up for the challenge. I stepped out and sunk up to my thigh in mud! Yuck. Then I tugged the kayak all the way in. Of course I had an audience who hollered out "are you going to pull them to the road". If that is what it takes I will do it. I didn't want Dane to get muddy. He took one look at me and saw all the mud and jumped right in to. What a mess! The best part is after we were done with all this we saw a sign on the dock that said "avoid the mud $2 launch fee. Ah man!
I took Dane to the children's museum with our parent participation group. We had so much fun!
For my Birthday Eric and Dane spoiled me. Dane let me sleep in. We went to my favorite place to have breakfast (Dane was sooo good). They we went into Morro Bay and rented a Surrey. Then we came home had yummy strawberry pie and Dane and I took great naps. My friend Ashley came over and zoned my feet. Then my parents came over and watched Dane so Eric and I could go out to Thai food with 2 of my favorite friends (Diana and Mark).
I love my boys!! Thanks for a great birthday.
I am just amazed at how fast time goes and how big Dane is. He amazes me everyday. He can count to 20 with no problem, he sings his ABCs all the time. He counts to 5 in Spanish. The funniest word he says these days is actually. "actually Dad I want to read this book". He even uses it correctly. It is so wonderful being his Mom. He will put his arms around me and say "I'm your best buddy mom". Yes Dane you are!
