Family Cruise to Hawaii

Well as you can see from the countdown on the right the Richards family cruise has come and gone...thank goodness for the memories and I know that it was annoying all the pictures. In total I took over 300 pictures...and would have done more if I had a larger memory on my camera. Everyone had such a good time. It was fun to see a few islands that Eric and I haven't been too. Each island had something that we loved....Kaui for the waterfall we climbed down and swam underneath...Hilo for the Hot ponds....Kona for the snorkeling...Maui for the amazing beaches and Oahu for the wonderful memories...Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful family vacation!

I am amazed this picture turned out so well with 15 people...we need to work a little on Marissa, she needs to stick with the crowd!

I think that my Mom's favorite thing about the cruise was the "Captain Table" that we were seated in. The first night we saw the table (it fit 15 people) and my mom wanted it. She asked for it and sadly they said, "you can have it tonight but you probably wont get it every night". I don't know if I mom was working the situation but she said, "we get the table every night...that is wonderful thank you". I don't think he had the heart to correct her so we had it every night! Way to go MOM!

In Kona Eric and I rented mopeds. We drove them down to where the family was snorkeling at. Inbetween snorkeling we drove Kira and Luke around the parking lot...Kira wanted to go faster and faster...she is so funny. She also gave Eric a new name...he is the "Tickle Man".

Here is our Snorkeling Stud Tyler...I was so amazed how well he did with the snorkel (a true art to master) he is also great with the noodle.

Mom and Dad had a balcony room which was really nice. (we were all dungeon dwellers) We all really liked to hang out in their room.

I love this picture...Kira (I mean spike) is such a fun girl. It is amazing to see her at work..she rules the Farley family and I think she knows it. Lara and I were talking about how in 15 years she will be out of school....Ok she is 3 I cannot picture here any older than 3 but I do know that they grow up fast. Jacob is already 11...time flies!

Amber was able to join us on our trip...she is a fun girl we are lucky to have her in our family.

When we got off in Hilo Marissa fell asleep in my arms...I love that little girl. She was really fun on the cruise. Everyone wanted to hold her and strangers took picture of her...she is THAT cute.

The three sisters...we didn't really get to play our favorite game this trip...the "who is oldest". I am so lucky to have such wonderful sisters that I am so close to.

Marrissa loved her backpack. I was very proud of this picture...you might see this as next years Christmas card.

In Hilo we took a walk through the flumes. We happened to get there right inbetween two bus loads of slow walkers. Needless to say we were able to take our time but this picture was difficult to pull off. :)

We found a fun stand on the side of the road in Maui where we bought a coconut.

Three boys

Lara and David enjoying a feast at the "captain's table".
Marissa did really well in the water. She loved it and couldn't wait to get in.

What a happy baby.

Thanks again Mom and Dad. Once again we have memories that will last a lifetime.
