Our family pet Pickle died on Thursday. We were all really surprised to get the news. Pickle was such a great bird. We always joked around that he was one of us. We would talk to him like he could understand us...he always had a stocking at Christmas and he could cheer you up out of your darkest moods. I honestly don't remember a time without him being a part of our family. I think we decided he was about 23 years old. I am really going to miss him...Love you Pickle

Wow, that is a really long time for a bird to live. He's cute!
sad. how interesting. because my bird polly (same kind as pickle) just died a couple months ago. I had her since 6th grade. It was really sad. I was her favorite. She would lay eggs on me. Well, perhaps Pickle and Polly will create spirit children together!
