We had alot of fun with family this last week. I was really nervous about playing hostess for a week but I loved every minute. It was fun to take Marissa up to Yellowstone to see the snow. We also saw an IMAX and Marissa was really into the movie. We all thought that she would be scared because it was loud and there were alot of animals....but as long as Papa was stuffing her cheeks full of food she did just fine.

We took a wrong turn leaving yellowstone (totally not Eric's fault) and before we knew we were going the wrong way we saw this bison on the side of the road. It reminded me of the time that Dad tried to pet one and I thought I was going to lose my life :)

We had to pull over because Tamara needed to change Marissa. Tamara had a feeling that if we didn't pull over quick we were going to experience a "blow out"....I guess we didn't make it in time because we did experience a blow out! It was really cold up in Yellowstone so Bryan and Mom held blankets around the car to shield Marissa from the cold. I think that Marissa really enjoyed it because she was all smiles!

Marissa and Uncle Bryan. She warmed right up to everyone...she is so fun. She also really like Tevi...Megan and Andy's Dog.
Gotta love that Face!
So I guess this picture says it all...I DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO LEAVE! I sent this picture to Tamara after she left the airport. She didn't even make it past security and I was crying...It is wonderful to have family visiting but it makes it really hard when they all leave. Eric and I spent Saturday returing all the baby stuff that we had borrowed because I couldn't bare to look at it. Tamara said that Marissa would wake up and look around for everyone...well I do the same thing...We have an empty house.
Once again thanks to everyone for coming up for Eric's Graduation. Eric and I always say that we are very blessed to have such wonderful families. We love living close to Eric's family and watching our Nieces and Nephews grow up. We are very lucky. With Eric graduating we really don't know where we will end up but we do know that it was so nice to be close to family while we were in school. Love you all!

Sounds like you had so much fun! Isn't it great when family comes to visit? I always love it. If only we could all live closer to family!

So, any job offers or plans in the works? I still vote you come to Washington! There's tons of houses for sale on this side of the water right now :) hint hint

Gosh Leah- you look so sad in that last picture! My mom comes on Saturday, so excited to have her come! But I know I'm going to be so sad to see her leave. :( I'm glad you had fun w/your family! Your niece is adorable!

What a wonderful week. You don't know the pain I felt not being able to be there!!! It is no fun being the only one not there! I am so proud of Eric and feel so blessed to have him in our family!! He is an amazing person, perfect brother-in-law and an incredible role model! Soon he will have companies banging down your door (maybe up here in the pacific northwest?) Love you both! Lara

I am also a little jealous that I was not there. It sounds like you all had a great time. Marissa is so cute. She looks just like Tamara. Maybe you guys need to look to Salt Lake? Hmmm.
