December in California

We are so spoiled in California. The weather is amazing all year round. A few days after Christmas we decided to take a walk on the coast. It was so great having my Dad lead us. We would take this walk often when I was a kid and he is a wealth of knowledge. It is nice to see that he can take his grandkids on a walk too.

Seconds before this was taken Dane was wearing his packers beanie made by my friend Kim. We were all decked out in our gear and showing our packers pride! I think you can tell from this picture that I love this kid. He changed our world overnight. I couldn't feel more blessed than I do when I look at him. Lately every night Eric and I go into Dane's room and watch him. Sometime he talks in his sleep and it is so funny. Yes Dane we watch you!

A few days later we went to the sand dunes to play. We did a lot of walking and Eric wasn't with us so that meant I had to wear Dane.

My Mom decided she would take a short cut up the hill. It didn't work out too well for her. Thank goodness Jacob came to the rescue and pulled my mom up the hill.


Tyler helped out with the pack on the way back. Dane LOVES Tyler. They had so much fun together. It reminded me alot of how Dane was with Hayden over Thanksgiving. Dane now says Tyler all the time. I think he really misses him!
