Dane is really doing great with his sleeping. He goes to bed at 9pm wakes up around 5am to eat, then sleeps till 9am. Some mornings I get out of the shower and he has made his way into our bed. This usually happens on Sunday morning. If he wakes up early he is totally content to just wait around till I can feed him.
Danes smiles sooo much these days. I just love it and it melts my heart. Eric's favorite thing he does is his sneeze. He will usually sneeze 3 or more times. He goes "achoo, achoo, achoo followed by ahooooo" (not a complete sneeze). We laugh every time.
This kid is Strong...he is able to kick right out of his swaddle.
Eric bought Dane some books for Christmas. They have fun together.
We had a 3 day weekend so we decided to head to my parents house. They are so busy with working in the temple that they really haven't had a chance to work in the garden. We were able to get alot of work done which was great. Eric worked so hard! When we got to my parents house Dane took one look at my mom and burst into a full body laugh. This was his first laugh and it was so precious! Dane doesn't really mind being in the car but 3 hours is his max. He was ready to get out!
You may be wondering what happened to all his hair...well I cut it! I did it all by myself while Eric was at work. I really should have waited for him. We really like it.
Handsome baby!
We call this a dream feed. Eric gives him a bottle for his last feeding of the day. He is just limp in Eric's arms!
After his bath Dane gets a little tummy time. He is getting so strong!
Eric turned 31 on the 3rd. For his birthday both our parents chipped in to send him on a snowboarding trip to Idaho. He had a blast. He loved hanging out with Kevin, Snowboarding and seeing his family.
Grandma Bodily passed away this month. She was 90 years old. We are going to miss her but we know she is in a better place and she is reunited with her family. She was a very sweet lady and I have some fun memories of her. She left behind a wonderful legacy of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We are excited for February. Dane is almost 4 months old. I started working this month taking care of a newborn baby boy. That's right I have 2 babies at my house. It is only for a few hours a day and I really do enjoy it. Eric's job is going great. He is busy busy busy. In March we are headed to Phoenix to see the Coopers and to see Eric's parents. Dane can't wait to see his Grandma Reesey and Grandpa Bodily.
