A Garden Party Baby Shower

This past weekend Eric and I headed up to San Luis Obispo for my baby shower. Sharla put so much work into making this day so special. Baby Dane and I sure feel loved. We had the shower in my parents garden, around the cabin. You just never know how the weather will turn out in Los Osos...at about 10:45am we were still having the drippy fog. Thank goodness that by 11:30 it stopped and we could see some blue skies.










These diaper cakes were made by my friend Rhonda Evanoff. She did such an amazing job. Everyone was just so amazed by these! Thanks Rhonda




My mom made the food for the event. She made a really yummy quiche that we found on a site called The Pioneer Woman. It was a real hit.


These cupcakes were made by Amy Bakes Cupcakes. They tasted as good as they looked. Such a hit.


We of course couldn't wait to start eating them...we snuck a taste before the shower began.


So many people contributed to getting me this stroller (it was the group gift). It is a Phil and Ted stroller that can someday convert into a double. It is such a nice stroller that will last a long time. Thanks everyone!


Sharla you did such a great job with this day. You really went above and beyond even though I asked up to keep it simple. I should know better...you are going to do what you are going to do. Thanks again. Love you so much!


Thanks so much everyone. We really could feel the love that was sent our way. We have been waiting so long to welcome a baby into our family and it is so wonderful knowing that he is coming to an environment where he is loved so much by everyone. We just can't wait to see him.
