A fun filled week!

This year was a very fun Father's day. We went up to my parents for the weekend and had a really fun time. Eric wanted a prime rib dinner for father's day. My mom and I had never made one but I have watched Cherie do it so that helped. We cooked a 10 lb prime rib and it was sooo yummy! I am not a big meat eater these days but this hit the spot. Eric and my Dad loved it! Eric also got some new flip flops. He was also able to take a nice Sunday nap.

The Garden is growing a little slower this year. We had a lot of rain and not alot of heat. Lets hope for some warm weeks so that everything is ready for the fair. The fair is less than a month away! My dad also added an addition to his cabin...can you tell?? Yup that is an outhouse. The yard looks so great. It is going to be the site of my baby shower at the end of the summer.

Lara and the kids stopped by our house on the way to my Mom and Dads. We had so much fun. We spent time at the park and checked out the sites. We were planning on hiking the Hollywood sign but after seeing it was a 5 mile strenuous hike we thought we would put it off for a little while.

We have a really fun backyard. We spent our evenings out Barbecuing and playing. The kids really got to know our neighbors well with the amount of times they had to go next door to get the Frisbee that had gone over the fence.

These two are two peas in a pod. They both love otter pops and Kira loves nothing more than being in Eric's arms. She is such a cutie. When she first saw me on Sunday night she said "Leah's baby bump is so cute. I see it!"

Yup you can see the baby bump. I thought I would show you my progression...14 weeks to my now 24 weeks.

Baby Dane is kicking alot. I love it. He is going to be a very active baby...I can already tell. We are having a lot of fun getting ready for him. Today we are going to start working on his room. I have been working on his Christmas stocking (hope I can finish it by Thanksgiving).

What a fun week. Fathers day lets you remember all the great things that our dads have done for us. Eric and I are so lucky to have such great Dads in our lives. I didn't think I could get any better than having the worlds best dayd but I also have the worlds best Father in law too! We love you Keith and wish we could have shared the day with you too! At least we will see you next week! Love ya!
