Utah Christmas

Lara and her family recently moved to Utah so we spent a few days with them before we headed up to Idaho. We left CA at 4am with my parents and a full car. Did I say full car? I couldn't believe how much we could fit in my car...I am amazed! So after about 12 hours of driving we made it to Lara's house. Her home is very nice. Our first day there is snowed a ton. Eric and the boys made a Snowman. I also introduced them to snowball throwing...oops.

Too cold for some :)

Jacob build a BIG snowball

Kids love taking pictures. I was never allowed to take a picture as a 7 year old. Truth is with digital cameras who cares about wasted pictures...Luke did a great job with this picture of us. I really wanted to get a pic with Santa...Eric just wasn't down with that.

A picture taken by Kira (four years old) not too bad

Here is Kira all ready for church...she is so cute. She gave up her room for us. She was disappointed to learn that the "tickle man" (Eric) would not be sleeping on the princess bed but on the trundle. She was also sad to learn that she would not be in there with us. She is so much fun.

It was so fun to spend time with Lara and her family. The kids are so much fun. They were so excited for Christmas. We bought the boys a Nintendo ds guitar hero game that they were to share. When they opened it Luke screamed out "guitar hero? I hate guitar hero!" It was probably the funniest present opening experience I have encountered! Needless to say Luke loves it and beat the game on easy. He was also walking around singing "all the small stuff". It was really funny.

I love this face! When she was little we called her Feeerrraaa Because she scared us. Now it is all coming full circle!
