Sometimes what is hardest for you to face end up helping you heal the most. I knew that going to Disneyland without Sharla would be hard. I have so many fun memories there and I saw a trip to Disneyland being something that would help me. Tamara must have known that and she called me and told me that they wanted to take us to Disneyland. I seriously have the best family. Dane was so excited when he saw Marissa. We told him that we were meeting someone special but he didn't know who. His face lit up when he saw her!
It is always fun to say in a hotel and of course jump on the bed.
Marissa is a little fish. We quickly changed into our swim suits so we could get into the water. It helped that it was a really hot day and the water was perfect!
Our first ride was in the new Cars land. It was great and Dane loved it. He loved tractors and this was a perfect way to start out the day.
A visit with Mater.
A quick nap for Dane. I am happy to say that Dane no longer uses a binkie. Right before his 2nd birthday he had a sore on his tongue and couldn't suck. When he asked for Binks I told him that it gave him an owie. He told me that he didn't want it anymore. What a great kid. I was so worried that it would be hard for him. Maybe potty training will be the same way!
Marissa wanted to go on the tower of terror. This is my favorite ride. She asked us not to scream...sorry Marissa I screamed!
Could this kid be any cuter??
Kisses from Uncle Mike
This picture looks like there are two Eeyores...Come on Dane smile...we are in Disneyland.
These two just love eachother so much. It is great to get them together.
Another classic Dane face. He loves tiger. Marissa and Dane play this game where they run around it opposite directions. When they meet up they yell out Tiger.
A BIG thanks again to Mike and Tamara for such a great trip. It means more to me than you will ever know!
