Dane is really starting to show off his personality these days. He is really into helping. I have a stool for him to use in the kitchen and he loves to get up there and help me cook. Someday I know he will be a big helper. Right now his is always throwing my stuff around! :)
He loves to taste things too. Sometimes we will discover a half chewed cucumber in our salad...yes that was Dane. He is really good with knowing if something is hot and he will stay away from it. He loves mixing things and of course posing for pictures. Cheese! My Aunt Susan gave us this awesome tool bench. Dane has so much fun with it as you can see. He can say all the tools and his favorite one to use is a hammer.
We did a little Easter egg hunt with Dane's friends. I hid lunch in all the eggs. It was pretty fun. Here we have Gunnar, Dane, Bryant and Logan. They didn't really understand what was going on but I am pretty sure that next year they will be champs.
He glow in the dark Easter bunny came to the house a few nights before Easter. Marissa and Dane had so much fun finding these. It wasn't too hard since they were glowing. Once Dane found out there was candy in these he was sold.
Saturday we went to church to do the Easter egg hunt. Each kid was allowed to get 10 eggs. Dane had a hard time moving on to the next egg. He wanted to crack that open and see what goodies were inside.
Marissa and Dane...enjoying their loot.
Sunday morning Dane and Marissa did a hunt at my parents house. Dane might have been over all the hunting that this point because every egg he found he threw...even the real eggs!
In Dane's Easter basket his got a John Deer tractor flashlight. He was in heaven. He carries that thing everywhere saying "tractor, Tractor"
It was so great having Tamara and Marissa at the house for Eater. It really got Dane excited and it is always fun to share holiday's with family.
