It isn't too late to blog about November

We have been really busy these last few months with our house remodel. The house really needed some updating but it turns out it needed alot more than we thought it would. When the previous renters left they left a big mess.

My plan was to refinish the cabinets and paint them white. I had a really good idea off pinterest and I was excited to get to work. After a day of painting I discovered a leak under the sink that had caused the cabinets to rot. My mom (our landlord) and I went to home depot where we picked out new cabinets. Thanks!

One big mess that the previous renters left was with the carpet. It is hard to tell from this picture but the spot in the corner is DOG OIL and the carpet is totally worn. GROSS! Our plan was to replace the carpet in the living room with the carpet from the back room but when we pulled it up there were pee stains everywhere! So of course we had to check all the carpet and yup you guessed it all the carpet was soiled. So again we went to home depot (wonderful landlords) and we picked out new carpet.

Eric installed a fireplace in the corner of the living room and it is wonderful. He did such a good job and we would be so cold without it!

We went to a Grinch birthday party in November and Dane had his face painted. He had so much fun at the party and actually loved having his face painted.

For Thanksgiving we headed to Arizona to stay with Megan. All of Eric's family was there and we had so much fun. Dane did sooo well in the car. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful boy!

Of course I didn't take alot of pictures (what is my problem??) I have been waiting for Anjie to post picture since she is really good with her blog and really good with taking pictures but she must have had a busy month too.

Dane had so much fun with his cousins. He also learned to say doggie because he LOVED Megan's dogs, especially their Great Dane Sonny.


We were able to get a great family picture while we were there.

When we got home from Arizona my parents had Christmas set up. Dane really wanted to get his hands on the tree but it was just out of reach.

I promise picture of the house soon. We are all moved it but we still have some work to do. Dane is talking alot these days. He says buggie, papa, mom, dad, sockie, happy birthday, doggie, apple, nummy nums, and bubble.
