9 Months old!

I just can't believe that Dane is already 9 months old. He has changed our lives in so many ways. I honestly can't imagine our lives without him and I also can't remember a time that he wasn't a part of our lives. We are so grateful for him and for all the joy he brings to us.

This last weekend our good friend Mike took pictures of Dane. We had so much fun with all the different locations and poses this kid can do.

9 months old and already a model.


We put him on the steps in front of the cabin and he kept trying to stand up. He is moving around a lot more these days but really why would a kid crawl if mom and dad get him everything he needs.

He is still whistling which we think is the funniest thing ever. He thinks it is pretty funny too. He also shakes his head "no". He always say to him "yes" and he says "no". We also know when he is done eating because he shakes his head really fast. He loves to feed himself fruit. Lately his favorite is peaches.


Everything still goes into his mouth. He is also really fun to watch on the video monitor. We usually put him down for bed around 7pm but he spends about an hour rolling around and playing in his crib. Sometimes it looks like he is conducting an orchestra from his crib with how much his hands are moving around.


This is my favorite face that he makes. Such a character just like his cousin Tyler!

Happy 9 Months Dane. We are going to celebrate by going to the Dr's for more shots :( I'll update later with his stats.

***Back from the Dr's. Dane weighs 20lbs and is 28 1/2 inches tall. He is very healthy and can now eat table food which he will be thrilled about. He always wants what we have. He also did great with his shot. One little whimper and he was over it.
