Goodbye Bryan....we will miss you!

We are a close family... having anyone leave is hard. We are still not over leaving Idaho and all of our family there. Today we had to say goodbye to Bryan. Bryan works for a company that provides packing equipment for blueberries. He started working for them a few months ago and headed up to Oregon for the blueberry harvest. Today he left for Michigan for a few days of training before he heads to Mexico. After Mexico he will go to Argentina, then Uruguay, and finally Chile before he heads home sometime in February of NEXT YEAR!

Yesterday my parents and Bryan arrived and we were able to spend sometime together. We obviously ate too much but had lots of fun.

We dropped Bryan off this morning at the airport. Normally it takes at least 45 minutes to get to LAX from our house but with it being a holiday we were able to get there in 20 minutes! It was great. Eric is going to miss his buddy.

We have been spoiled with how much we have seen Bryan over the last year. My parents have had him even longer. When we got to the airport my dad said, "what am I going to do without my best friend?"


We are sad that Bryan wont be able to see Baby Dane for a little while. I know Bryan and Dane are going to be buddies. I can already see him riding along and going 4 wheeling with his Uncle Bryan.

After the airport we headed on a drive through Malibu. We saw some pilot whales off shore. It was really awesome. Dad and I also took this opportunity to compare bellies. I think I win...Dad was really pushing out.

We hope Bryan will be safe and watched over while he is away from us. Going out of the country is a little scary but Bryan has lots of experience and speaks Spanish fluently. We are lucky that Skype exists because we will still be able to talk to him. I just hope he doesn't forget English while he is gone. Love ya Bryan. We miss you!
