We babysat Tevie for a few days. Since Kira is also a dog named "spike" they really got along well!
On Saturday Eric ran in the Bone-& Back relay race. He did really good! It was fun to cheer him on.
Eric was doing really good until at the last minute Jacob swooped in to take the lead. :)
Sunday we decided to hike up to 40 horse cave. Eric used to hike this as a kid...
Lets just say that it was really steep....Kira kept saying, "its really slippery up here".
It was really cool at the top. Lara and I felt like we were in Arizona living with the other human in the cave (obviously I am talking about my new favorite book "the Host!"
Luke said that it was the worst day of his life....he was deathly afraid that we were all going to die on the walk down. When we made it to the bottom he said that it was fun. On the way home we almost ran out of gas. Isn't it great that cars tell you down to the mile how much further you can go? Lets just say that we drove on 0 for about 6 miles. :)

wow, it looks like you've been keeping busy and having lots and lots of fun. Hiking, boating, waterparks, the zoo, and family....sounds like a dream come true!
